Job Description – Bartender

Position Summary

The Bartenders plays a vital role in the success of our daily operations by providing excellent food and beverage service in a friendly, attentive, and professional manner. As the face of our restaurant and bar, servers/bartenders ensure every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and valued.

Key Responsibilities
Bartender Duties

Open and set up the bar for service (cash drawer, fruit prep, ice, sanitation, barware).
Take and prepare drink orders accurately with proper proportions.
Check guest IDs and monitor alcohol consumption.
Ensure responsible alcohol service; refuse service if necessary.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bar area.
Change kegs, rotate stock, and restock beer, wine, and spirits.
Wash and sanitize glassware.
Prepare and close out accurate tabs and daily reports.
Monitor guest behavior and handle issues professionally, escalating to a manager when needed.
Perform end-of-shift duties (trash removal, bathroom checks, building security, deposits, alarm).

Qualifications
Previous bartending experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food, cocktails, beer, and wine.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and able to obtain/maintain any required certifications.
Reliable, team-oriented, and guest-focused.

Work Environment
Flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and a few holidays.
Restaurant hours are Mon-Sun 4pm-9pm and Bar hours are Mon-Sat 4pm-11pm; and Sundays 4pm-9pm
Standing/walking for extended periods and occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs).
A collaborative team environment focused on hospitality and member satisfaction.

Compensation is $8.00-$10.00 per hour plus Tips

Set up server stations for meal service.
Greet and seat guests promptly, offering menus and tableware.
Anticipate guest needs (special seating, celebrations, etc.).
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Check guest IDs when necessary.
Enter orders into POS system correctly and communicate with kitchen staff.
Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy.
Provide attentive service—checking satisfaction, refilling drinks, clearing plates.
Offer dessert and specials knowledgeably.
Process guest payments accurately.
Thank guests and invite them to return.
Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
Answer phone orders and assist with carryout service.
Complete assigned side work, restocking, and closing duties.
Support team members and seek manager assistance when needed.

Lake Saint Louis Community Association (LSLCA) is comprised of beautiful, mature and well established residential neighborhoods that are safe and peaceful, and they are further complimented by unparalleled private amenities. Lake Saint Louis Community Association consists of approximately 4,000 residential properties within the City of Lake Saint Louis.

The LSLCA focuses on serving our local community, and one of the many amenities we offer is our fabulous private bar and grill. We are looking for experienced line cooks who have a passion for providing excellent service and take pride in preparing delicious cuisine.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in food & beverage service, have a positive attitude, and reliable transportation. We offer a beautiful and challenging work environment, a great team to work with, and opportunities to further develop your skills.

FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE POSITION

Minimum of $25.00 per hour


The LSLCA is hiring for a full-time maintenance worker for our resort-like community! This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

Work hours are 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday.

Some weekends and holidays are required.

This position works mostly outdoors, with some indoor hours available.

We are looking for candidates who enjoy a physically active work environment, are comfortable working in outdoor and indoor conditions, and have a career driven mindset. Our maintenance needs change daily and so candidates who are interested in this position will enjoy a work environment where they will be doing something different every day.

This position has the following responsibilities: Landscaping: operating a zero-turn mower, weed eating, and flower bed maintenance.
Cleaning Facilities: restrooms, floors, windows, operating commercial floor scrubbers/vacuums, restocking supplies, trash removal, and general maintenance of our clubhouse, marina, and workout room facilities.
Setting Up and Taking Down Events: Utilizing a provided room layout - includes moving tables/chairs, placing linens, light decorating at times.
Helping guests who are hosting events with any set-up needs that may arise the day of the event.
Painting: Facilities both indoor and out as needed.
Other miscellaneous maintenance as needed: The Lake Saint Louis Community Association maintains two lakes, three marinas, multiple parks, docks, a clubhouse, a workout facility, and many acres of common ground.

What we offer:
100% paid health, dental, vision, short-term-disability, long-term disability, and a $25K life/AD&D policy. Benefits go into effect on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment have been completed.
Paid-Time-Off: You start accruing time off the day you start working.
Year 1: Accrue 11 days total, Year 2: Accrue 16 days total.
We also have 11 paid holidays off in addition to your PTO time.
401K with employer match: After completing 1 year of employment
(and a minimum of 1200 hours) you are eligible to participate in our 401K. We offer a 50% match on your contributions on up to 5% of your salary.
Annual increases in pay (increases are based on performance).

MAINTENANCE WORKER (PART-TIME SEASONAL)
Starting Pay: $18.00 Per Hour

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM. Some Weekends & Holidays required. This is an outdoor position with various responsibilities.

Job Description
The Lake Saint Louis Community Association serves more than 4800 households within the CA boundaries. Our members enjoy the use of many amenities, including our beautiful lakes, parks, golf course, and pool. We are now hiring for a part-time maintenance worker!
The Maintenance Staff performs a variety of duties within the CA. We are currently hiring for a part-time, non-exempt candidate to add to our maintenance staff.

Duties include:
Parks and facilities maintenance
Landscaping
Checking restrooms through CA property
Removing trash from the bar/grill, pool area, and clubhouse rooms
Setting up and tearing down rooms and pavilions for events
Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping clubhouse, cleaning carpets
General repairs around the facility
Acting as contact person for repairs performed by outside technicians

Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license
Saturday and Sunday hours are required for this position. Some evenings, and holidays as needed.
Must be able to work in an indoor/outdoor environment
Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time (8 hour shifts)
Must be able to lift 25+ pounds repetitively
